La tecnologíaTech: el ordenador (computer), el móvil (mobile), la tableta, las redes sociales, internet.
Internet verbsnavegar (to surf), descargar (download), subir (upload), chatear, mandar un mensaje.
Ventajas/desventajasPros and cons: 'La ventaja es que...', 'La desventaja es que...'. Key essay structure.
Verbos modalesPoder (can), deber (must), querer (want) + infinitive: 'Puedo comunicarme', 'Debemos tener cuidado'.
Negationno + verb: 'No uso Facebook'. Double negative valid: 'No uso nunca Facebook' (I never use Facebook).
El ciberacosoCyberbullying: el ciberacoso, la víctima, peligroso (dangerous), proteger (to protect).
Common mistakes to avoid
Questions where students often pick the tempting wrong answer — make sure you know the right one:
Are accents and ñ just decoration in Spanish?✗ Yes, they're optional. ✓ No — they change meaning and pronunciation (año vs ano); ñ is its own letter.
Do written Spanish questions need any special punctuation?✗ No, just a normal question mark at the end. ✓ Yes — they use an inverted opening mark (¿ … ?).
