eresYou are (informal singular) — from ser.

Common mistakes to avoid

Questions where students often pick the tempting wrong answer — make sure you know the right one:

Do Spanish adjectives change form?✗ No, Spanish adjectives never change.   ✓ Yes — they agree with the noun's gender and number (rojo/roja/rojos/rojas).
Are all Spanish nouns ending in -o masculine and -a feminine?✗ Yes, with no exceptions ever.   ✓ It's a useful guide, but there are exceptions (el día, la mano, el problema).
